13 Public WI-FI (KFI) • Ongoing maintenance and shifting of Wi-Fi hotspots established across the State by system integrator M/s BSNL. • Upto 4 TB data consumption per day.
14 Public Wifi • CDAC, who has been engaged as TPA for KFi project has completed TPA activities for 14 Districts and also submitted payment recommendations for the operator.
15 Public Wifi • In budget speech 2022-23, 2000 more Wi-Fi hotspots has been announced and vide G.O(Rt) No. 169/2022/ITD dated 22.8.2022 Administrative sanction for the same has been awarded.
16 Public Wifi • Government has sanctioned the implementation of Plan vouchers for the Public Wi-Fi hotspots and has been implemented.
17 Public Wifi • M/s Grant Thronton Bharath LLP has been appointed as consultant for Public wifi project and site survey for additional 2000 hotspots has been completed.
18 Public Wifi • As instructed by Government, discussion has been initiated with KFON ltd for establishing additional 2000 hotspots.
19 Video Conferencing • Conducted around 8000 Video Conferences per year • Average Video Conferences hosted and managed by KSITM per day is 25
